This message is most trustworthy….so that those who have believed in (trusted in,relied on ) God may be careful to apply themselves to honorable occupations and to doing good,for such hings are[not only] excellent and righ [in themselves],but[they are] good and profitable for the people.TITUS 3:8
What an awesome thing it is to be good to people. The Bible says that God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with strength,ability,and power and that He went about doing good, for God was with him( see Acts 10:38 ).Jesus spent His days being good to people ,all people .He helped and encouraged people everywhere He went.
We are anointed to bless people as Jesus did.God has given us the strength,ability,and power to do awesome works in His name. So do good all day today .

I was running around my block and the Lord spoke to me and said WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SITE. Yes, we know that, but do we always do it ? I know I don’t. So the Lord wants us to have faith .I find that when I have faith all this little stuff does not matter,But when I don’t all the little things look so huge.So today as you enter your day WALK BY FAITH!!!!!

Be led by God today ask Him not to let you get sidetracked .He has a plan for you today. I want to go by his plan and not mine. He has people in your day that he wants you to minister to.We can finish this race well.We know who the winner is!! THANK YOU JESUS….

He who heeds instruction and correction is [not only himself] in the way of life[but also]is a way of life for others.Proverbs10:17 Love your critics.Appreciate people’s correction.Appreciate God’s correction also.Proverbs 3:12 says,”For whom the Lord loves he corrects.” Self -discipline is the mark of maturity.If you don’t have control of yourself in a certain area, you are undisciplined.In that area you are not mature.If you want to become a mature Christian,then you must be disciplined. If you want to be free to truly enjoy your life,you must face the truth.You cannot be free if you make excuses for any area of weakness that God has pointed out to you. Everyone has weaknesses;give thanks to God if you discover one of yous today,and trust Him to be strong in that area in your behalf. Joyce meyer

I have to say, If things stay the same to long day after day I get bored .There are alot of people that do not like change . Change is good it keeps us on our toes. Its fun sometimes to not have a clue where you are going but just hop in the car and go.If we don’t let loose sometime ,how boring is that.Yes, you can have clean fun.Thats what keeps us young.HAVE SOME GOOD CLEAN FUN TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He who has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down and without walls.Proverbs 25:28. Self -control is a fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). It develops as we spend time fellowshipping with God and practicing obedience to Him.Sometimes we would rather that God control us and make us do the right thing.But He wants us to rule over our spirit.
Proverbs 16: 32 says,”He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, he who rules his own spirit than He who takes a city.”It takes self-control not to get offended, not to become angry every time somebody doesn’t do something the way we want itdone.Self-control is needed overour thoughts, our words,and our appetites. But once we master our own spirit ,we are considered to be powerful in the eyes of God- stronger than one who takes a city.

O my how hard that word is some times .Today I took my 9th grader Josh to school.We had the best summer ever .The Lord just tells me to trust him in all of these changes in my life .I like to think that I always do but I have to repent and say TRUST is sometimes scary.The Lord is doing so many new things in all of our lives.So we have to TRUST and PRAY , PRAY, PRAY like never before.To all of the Moms out there that had to send your child to school today .Lets TRUST God with our children and know He loves them more than we do.Love to all!!!!

Now day and time we have so many things going on .We have to do this and do that and then we get to busy doing all this stuff and most of is great stuff.The thing is sometimes it takes us away from our Father God and then we are doing good things in the flesh and then we run dry and panic because we can’t do all that we need to but the Lord says ” Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now,and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow.God will help you deal with what ever hard things comeup when the time comes” Matthew 6:34.This is the way we all need to live .Yes, very hard to do but with GOD we can get the things done as long as he comes first.One day at a time ! Just so you know this is to me as well…..

Some times we think we are hungry for food but we really are hungry for more of God.There have been times when I needed to spend more time with God or even spend more time with my husband but ate to feel that void instead . I ate more from longing than anything else.I would try to feel other needs with food and that does NOT work.

Wanted to share something this morning .As we finish off 2006 we should write down all the things that God has done for us this year.Even if it is giving us breath and keeping us alive for another day.We have somewhere to lay our head and sleep.Write big and small things God has done.One of the things I want to work on more next year is writing a little more.It gives us something to look back on when we are having a hard day.Put the date on your thankful letter and put it somewhere safe.One thing I did a few years ago for my son and my husband for thanksgiving I wrote down every little to big thing that I loved about them .That meant so much to them they still have those letters.Thank about those you love and write down every wonderful thing about them God will show you all kind of things.That could be there very best Christmas gift they get.
