Here is a list of some starters to help you begin your journey to healing.

  • Totally surrender yourself to God, even your weight. Tell him you know you cannot do it without him because you have already tried and failed.

  • Ask God where he wants you to begin. Psalm 32:8 says "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye." Ask God what type of exercise he wants you to do, even if it is walking, or dancing around your home. Whatever you start doing make sure it is what God asked you to do and not what someone else is doing.

  • Look in the mirror everyday and tell yourself “I love you” and “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” Psalm 139:14. Post scriptures on your fridge or in your car. Our words are powerful! Stop speaking negative words over yourself. Only speak positive things over yourself and watch how things start to change. “Set a guard O Lord over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips” Psalm 141:3

  • Be what God has created you to be and do not be conformed to what the world wants you to be. “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God”. Romans 12:2

  • THIS IS NOT A DIET, SO YOU CANNOT FAIL!!! "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the spirit." Romans 8:1
